Platform Fees

Every customer pays a simple platform fee based on usage:
The current voice runtime meters active seconds. The platform charge rounds up to the next cent per call; providers and carriers use their own measured usage units. SMS platform billing has a one-cent minimum for each nonzero message.

Burki Cloud Pricing

With supported Burki Cloud providers, you pay the platform fee plus actual AI and telephone usage. Burki adds no management markup:
This planning example assumes five active call minutes and five provider-session minutes, with 1,000 uncached input tokens and 200 output tokens per minute. Actual usage, session overhead and per-call rounding change the final charge.Telephone usage, number rental/management, optional actions and applicable taxes are additional. GPT Live is a voice-session configuration with separate reasoning usage; this is not a universal STT/LLM/TTS tariff.

When you bring your own API keys, you only pay platform fees:

Hybrid Mode

Mix and match! Use your own keys for some services while letting Burki manage others.
Assume five active minutes, five Nova-3 audio minutes and 5,000 billable Sonic-3 characters. Your LLM provider bills you separately.
For each supported Burki Cloud component, actual provider usage is passed through at cost. Components using your own verified credentials are billed directly by those providers. Neither mode adds a Burki management markup. Review the exact rates and telephone route in your workspace before going live.

Browser Trial

Eligible new workspaces receive up to three minutes of personalized browser testing, pooled across sessions, with a two-minute maximum per call and one trial call at a time. Provider-cost limits and shared daily capacity can reduce availability. Your workspace shows the effective allowance before testing. Trial actions are simulated. The allowance does not include a free telephone number, live telephone calls, real bookings, stored recordings or separately priced AI workflow generation. Those require funded usage and the relevant supported setup.
Existing grants and funded balances keep their own terms. Browser trial time is separate from wallet funds, and exhausting the allowance does not automatically turn practice into paid usage. See the Quickstart for the current setup path.

Burki uses a prepaid wallet system:

  • Auto top-up available to never run out of credits
  • Real-time balance visible in your dashboard
  • Detailed usage breakdown by call, assistant, and service

Minimum Balance Requirements

Before funded usage, review the selected configuration’s quote and available balance in Usage & billing. Calls can reserve funds before starting, and provider usage can settle afterward. The workspace’s readiness checks determine whether the call can proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The current voice runtime bills the platform from active seconds, rounded up to the next cent per call. At the standard 0.03/minuterate,30activesecondscosts0.03/minute rate, 30 active seconds costs 0.02 in platform fees. Provider-session, audio, token, character and carrier usage are measured separately, so their billed durations may differ.
A standard SMS segment is 160 characters. Messages longer than 160 characters are split into multiple segments. We use the carrier’s reported segment count.
Yes! You can change your configuration at any time from the dashboard. You can even use hybrid mode with some services on BYO and others on Burki Cloud.
Your draft remains editable. Exhausting browser trial time does not automatically authorize paid calling. Add prepaid funds only when you choose to continue, review optional auto top-up separately, and resolve readiness checks before connecting real callers.
No. Burki is pure pay-as-you-go. No monthly minimums, no long-term contracts. Pay only for what you use.
