Burki offers straightforward pricing with no hidden fees. Pay only for what you use, with generous free trial credits to get started.

## Platform Fees

Every customer pays a simple platform fee based on usage:

When using Burki Cloud, we manage all AI providers for you:

  During the free trial, Burki uses a single trial-minute bucket. Those minutes waive platform fees and, for Burki-managed usage, absorb managed AI and carrier pass-through while minutes remain.

## Wallet & Payments

Burki uses a prepaid wallet system:

* **Add funds** via credit card (Stripe)
* **Auto top-up** available to never run out of credits
* **Real-time balance** visible in your dashboard
* **Detailed usage** breakdown by call, assistant, and service

### Minimum Balance Requirements

After trial minutes are exhausted, calls require enough wallet balance to cover at least one billable platform minute. Managed pass-through costs and managed service fees are deducted as usage is rated.

## Frequently Asked Questions

    We bill based on **connected minutes** only. Time is calculated from when the call is answered until it ends. Any non-zero connected call is billed as at least 1 minute, and longer calls round up to the next full minute. Unanswered calls are not billed.

  <Accordion title="What counts as an SMS segment?">
    A standard SMS segment is 160 characters. Messages longer than 160 characters are split into multiple segments. We use the carrier's reported segment count.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I switch between BYO and Burki Cloud?">
    Yes! You can change your configuration at any time from the dashboard. You can even use hybrid mode with some services on BYO and others on Burki Cloud.

  <Accordion title="What happens when my trial ends?">
    Your account continues to work - you'll just start being charged for usage. Add funds to your wallet before the trial ends to ensure uninterrupted service.

  <Accordion title="Is there a monthly minimum or commitment?">
    No. Burki is pure pay-as-you-go. No monthly minimums, no long-term contracts. Pay only for what you use.
